There are so many heavy metal bands internationally known
today, but my favorite would be Metallica, because of the music they
play and the lifestyles they lead.

Metallica was formed in the early ninteen eighties by two of
the present four man troupe. James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich began
fabricating the band as a way to produce a different style of music
to a fast growing network of loyal metal fans.

After they knew what music they wanted to produce, they still
needed a bass player and a lead guitarist. They would soon obtain
Ron Mcgovney and Dave Mustaine respectively. After some trials and
tribulations, Ron and Dave were released due to there immature and
unprofessional attitudes. Their replacements would be Cliff Burton
on bass and Kirk Hammet on lead guitar. Consequently, on the way to
one of there performances, the bus tipped over on a icy highway
	instantaneously slaughtering Burton.

Thus bringing forth the current status of the Metallica
membership to Hetfield, Ulrich, Hammet and Jason Newstead on bass.

Their music has a heavy paced style to it; It is fast and
powerful. I imagine that is why they have so many loyal and die-hard
fans that listen to them. More importantly, their first musical
breakthrough was a album called, "Kill 'em All". That album turned
the heads of thousands of people everywhere.

Through the years they have manufactured another four albums,
gaining audiences attention all over. Master of Puppets is one of
them, and it happens to be my favorite. I would hope that this band
will continue to produce music that they are accustomed to making.

The lives they lead are probably unimaginable to the average
Joe, but through books and magazine articles we have learned how they
live and what they do. Party should be Metallica's middle name
because that is what they engage in the majority of the time, besides
making music of course. One of their pastimes is touring the world,
visiting uncultured people and reigning havoc on fans that haven't
experienced musical genius' such as these.

As you can see Metallica is very popular because of their
musically inclined talents and intriguing lifestyles. I am certain
that they will continue to create almost perfect music, to a heavy
metal scene that needs the occasional boot in the ass. I myself will
remain to praise this group until this phase has passed.
