Updated files for NetWare 3.11
------------------------------

ODI-Compliant LAN Drivers
-------------------------

Since WanderLink contains an ODI-compliant LAN driver, you may need to
install certain support files to upgrade your NetWare 3.11 server. If the
current LAN driver in your server is ODI-compliant, then you will already
have these files. The required files are avaliable in the \SNW directory of
the Administrator diskette.

The following files are needed to support ODI-compliant LAN drivers on a
NetWare 3.11 server:

	PATCHMAN.NLM
	ETHERTSM.NLM
	LSLENH.NLM
	MSM31X.NLM
	MONITOR.NLM

If your current LAN driver is ODI-compliant, then you are already loading
these files. If it is not ODI-compliant, then you must load these files
BEFORE loading your LAN driver.

NOTE: We have also supplied a new NE2000.LAN which is ODI-compliant. If you
are using an NE2000 Network Interface Card, then you can use this driver.
Otherwise, you should be able to obtain a new driver from the NIC
manufacturer.

ODI-compliant drivers, including WanderLink, require the updated MONITOR.NLM,
which we have supplied.

AIO Drivers
-----------

We have supplied the latest AIO.NLM and AIOCOMX.NLM from Novell. You need to
update to these files only if you are having problems connecting to the server
with your current AIO drivers loaded. When loading newer AIOCOMX.NLM files,
(included with those provided with either NetWare Connect or WanderLink), be
sure to specify the maxrate parameter. For example: 'LOAD AIOCOMX
MAXRATE=115200'. Otherwise, AIOCOMX will limit the speed of the port to 19200
baud.

NOTE: If you are using AIO.NLM which is supplied with Novell's NetWare
Connect, you will need to reconfigure it by loading AIOCON.NLM at the server
console. From the AIOCON menu, choose Configure Ports and set Allowed
Applications to be only AIO (instead of CONNECT).

BTRIEVE.NLM
-----------

We have supplied the latest version of BTRIEVE.NLM. You need to install this
version only if you receive the error message "Unable to open database" when
loading WLADS.NLM during the installation of the WanderLink server
(AFTER311.NLM and A3112.NLM are required by this version of Btrieve.)

PBURST.NLM
----------

Loading this NLM will provide burst mode for communications on your server.
This will enhance the performance of data communcations to and from your
server when used in conjunction with the new VLM Dos Requester from Novell.
