Thank you for ordering the Pie 3D Game Creation System. Our testers
have reported some info that arrived too late to be put into the manual.

1.) Unfortunately, we couldn't use our fancy demos because some
changes in the GCS program that occurred relatively recently made our
demos not readable with the new version. The XMAS demo is incomplete,
but you can see how nice an outdoor scenario can look, and you can
see how we customized the ememies, and a weapon.

2.) When matching palettes for the weapons, some of the areas that were
supposed to merely dark got set to totally black. This makes 'holes'
appear in the weapons. It would be easy to change those black pixels
to almost black pixels in the sg*.vgr files in the $rp9a/weap_def
directory.

3.) Your 'M' meter on the bottom of the screen is only accurate right
after testing your levels. The 'M' meter will read 0 if you have never
tested a level.

4.) If you cannot free enough memory up, you can still run the even
though it gives you that warning message. Just type 'b' to bypass that
test. You will probably be able to do most things ok, but you will
run out of memory in your levels a little earlier that those who manage
to free up enough so that the warning doesn't come up.

5.) If you can't run the ARTDEMO, or run your final project because
of the memory test, then you can always edit the batch file ARTDEMO.BAT
with a text editor, and comment out the memory check:

Change the following line in GO.BAT or ARTDEMO.BAT :

memc

Change it to:

rem memc

This way you can run the ARTDEMO or your final project with no memory
test. Keep in mind, that critical errors may ensue if you run out of
RAM, though. The ARTDEMO should run in 580k, however.

Thank you very much for your order, and we look forward to a
continuing relationship with you. If you have trouble with the GCS,
