3/ PLAYING CHARM
You are expected to have read the introduction before
refering to this section.
The idea of charm is to escape each of the levels. To
accomplish this, you must collect the required number of
orbs then leave the level through the exit. In the process
of obtaining the orbs, try to collect as many charms as you
can that are scattered throughout the level. There are 5
different combinations of charms, each giving you an
increasing number of points:
x1 - 100 points
x2 - 200 points
x4 - 400 points
x6 - 600 points
x10 - 1000 points
Various objects make your task more complex:
You will find doors requiring the correct colour keys
You will need to push around boulders which bar your path
You must deal with deadly traps

To help you, you can collect and use sticks of dynamite.
You can use these to destroy boulders and certain walls,
but take care, they also destroy orbs, charms and keys.
You can also set up chain reactions, to blow up large
amounts of things.

An overview of all objects and their properties can be
obtained from the help menu within Charm.

When you complete a level, you are given a password so
you can go straight back to that level in a later session.

4/ If you have a Sound Blaster (TM) or compatible sound
card, set up to play WAV sound files, then you can take
advantage of the Charm's sound effects. To enable sound
effects, open the Options menu then check (tick) all of
the items for full sound or check them selectively.
