INSTALLATION PROCEDURES FOR "GOING FISHIN'" AMTEX SIMULATION:

Well, here's another sh*tty installation setup of a CD-program.
This time, I've figured out how the hell to get it started
(which wasn't all that hard, actually).

NB: Whatever you do, don't use the silly "install.bat" file found in
the first zip; it's recursive, and will continually unarj the first
ARJ file "NU-GONEF.ARJ" non-stop. Once this starts, good luck trying
to get the bloody thing to stop!

First, unzip all 6 zips (NU-GONE1.ZIP to NU-GONE6.ZIP) into a single
directory. You should have 6 ARJ files ("Damn, I really hate
this ARJ format") in that directory, ie.,

     (NU-GONEF.ARJ,
      NU-GONEF.A01,
      .
      .
      .
      NU-GONEF.A05, incl.)

Next, you've got to set up your installation directory. So unARJ the files
via "ARJ X -V -R -Y NU-GONEF.ARJ" into some chosen directory.

For example, if you want C:\ to be your installation directory (which
is kind of dumb, but will work nonetheless), then type:

"ARJ X -V -R -Y NU-GONEF.ARJ C:\" -- and this should set you up
for the next phase of installation quite nicely. All the necessary
subdirectories will be set up automatically.

After all that nonsense is completed, you'll now have to get into the
C:\ directory, run the program's inherent 'install' exe file, follow
through with the annoying questions, and wait a while as the installation
process crawls along.

(Editor's note: in my case, it took 2 trips to the toilet and a quickie
with my girlfriend before it finished).

There. You're done. Simply run the setup.exe file, and select any necessary
options. Oh, and then run the "crack.exe/com?" file from the first disk.
Both of these tasks MUST be performed before running the game/simulation.

If these instructions are too simplistic, I apologize. I'm just assuming
that not too many people are familiar with working in ARJ files...
Hell, I've been there.

Cheers.
