** HARD DRIVE INSTALLATION **

You must have 264,000 bytes free on your hard disk to install Joshua.  To see
how much free space you have on your hard drive, type CHKDSK and hit <Enter>.  

To install Joshua on your hard drive, place the floppy disk into the
appropriate disk drive.  Switch to that drive by typing that drive letter
(A: or B:) and hit <Enter>.  Now type INSTALL and hit <Enter>.  The program
will automatically make a directory on your hard drive and copy the files
over.

To play Joshua, first return to your hard drive by typing C: and hitting
<Enter>.  Next type CD \JOSHUA and hit <Enter>.  Once you are in the JOSHUA
subdirectory, type JOSHUA and hit <Enter>.  


** PLAYING FROM THE FLOPPY DRIVE **

You may play Joshua directly from your floppy drive.  Simply switch to that
drive by typing A: or B: and hitting <Enter>.  Once you are on the appropriate
drive, type JOSHUA and hit <Enter>.  Note: Loading screens and sounds takes
longer when playing from the floppy drive.  If you'd like the game to load
faster, install it on the hard drive.


** COMMAND LINE PARAMETERS **

When running Joshua from the C: prompt, you may use any of the following
commands to control game features.

SAMPLE: C:\>joshua brain

This would cause the game to show only the game questions.  Here is a list of
the other command line parameters:

murals = reward screens only

brain = game questions only

nojoystick = keyboard mode only

joystick = force joystick

noblaster = no soundblaster support

debug = pause after initializion screen

walrus = cheat mode (allows you to skip levels by one)

