SAMPLE ANIMATIONS FROM ACCOLADE'S UPCOMING FIGHTING GAME:

               CYBERNAUTS - THE NEXT BREED

The following animated sequences have been taken directly from
3-D modeling files created on a Silicon Graphics workstation.
Using these complex animated 3-D models, we have created the super-
heroes for our upcoming fighting game. The heroes included in
this demo include: Pitbull, Ground Zero, and Banzai. The anima-
tions show each model rotating, with the exception of the Pitbull
animation where he throws a punch. The punching motion was
recorded using a complex motion capture process taking movements
from a real martial arts expert. This motion capture technology, along
with the 3-D models, is being used to create the most advanced and
realistic fighting game ever produced for the Sega Genesis. All
animations have been converted to .ANM files for viewing on the
average VGA PC system.

The file is a self-extracting archive, so simply run CYBRNAUT.EXE to
unpack the files and then type 'GO'.

You can also play a single animation if you like by typing:

PLAY -L filename [the animation will loop until you press ESC]

The following is a brief description of each of the animated
sequences:

PB256 - Pitbull rotating in 256 colors
PBPUNCH - Pitbull throwing a punch in 256 colors
GZ256B - Ground Zero rotating in 256 colors, with black background
GZ256 - Ground Zero rotating in 256 colors, with grey background
GZ16 - Ground Zero rotating in 16 colors, same image used on Sega
BZ256 - Banzai rotating in 256 colors
BZ16 - Banzai rotating in 16 colors, same image used on Sega

These animations show how accurately each frame can be rendered
using the SGI generated 3-D models. The 16 color animations are
the exact same files we have put into the video cartridge for the
Sega Genesis. Enjoy!
