				PUFFY.SC1 - Cumulus AS&D simulation
				SCUD.SC1 - Slightly broken AS&D overcast
                    LAYERS.SC1 - Multi-layers broken coverage
STORM.SC1 - Hurricane center over Key West
(Place all SC1 files in FS4
							  directory and/or FS5 SCENERY
							  subdirectory)

STORM.STN - Situation file for FS5 places you
in the eye of the hurricane.
							 (Place in FS5 PILOTS subdirectory)
STORM.MOD - Mode file for FS4 places you in

Important AS&D note: The radius of the cloud files cover the entire
U.S. mainland and may override any localized files while
the static scenery Auto-load mode is used. Select the cloud
type maually if necessary to avoid conflicting boundaries.

"VFR Compliance - Getting Around the Clouds"

Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) require aircraft to remain
clear of clouds during typical Visual Flight Rules (VFR) operations.
Specific distance requirements from clouds are listed in FAR
Part 91.155 and on page thirty seven of Mallard's Real Weather
Pilot manual. In order to experience flight simulation to the
fullest extent, it's important to adhere to the rules as they apply.

Included in 4CLOUD.ZIP are four variations of elevated polygon
cloud simulations. The files PUFFY.SC1, LAYERS.SC1, SCUD.SC1 and
STORM.SC1 represent culmulus, multi-layered broken, scuddy
overcast with occasional openings and the spiraling clouds of a
hurricane over SD-7's Key West, FL in STORM.SC1! These SC1 clouds
may not be as realistic in appearance as the beautiful FS5 layered
clouds, but they are incredibly effective in simulating the visually
obstructive nature of clouds to flight operations.

4CLOUD.ZIP is a collection of the four processed (SEE)
enhanced SC1 files ready to place into the FS4 directory or the
FS5 scenery subdirectory. The auto-load function should be disabled
in either FS being used and the cloud formation desired selected
manually from the (SC1) library. Clouds can be set to change between
your departure and destination points. This can be done by modifying
the selected cloud file's center point and radius as described in the
AS&D manual. The working SEE cloud file packages would be needed to
further modify clouds such as changing cloud base altitudes,
reposition clouds in the sky or track a real storm through your FS
world. Those files are in the FSFORUM as SCUD.ZIP, CLOUDY.ZIP and
STORM.ZIP.

Remember, no cheating! Maintain VFR compliance and stay clear
of those clouds!
