                    FS5STRUCT.TXT Version 0.1 (!)

This version of FS5STRUCT is still very provisory and it is intended as a
starting point.

This version of FS5STRUC is again sent both as a ZIP via CompuServe and
as a UUE via Internet; next versions will be only distributed as UUE files;
if you do not have UUE, please get a copy, it's freeware!.

Beyond the text itself, you'll find a collection of .DES (for use with
FSDECODE) and a bunch of .BAT: the structure of .BGLs is too complex to
build a general .DES easily; I'm working on that, but, for the moment,
I could write only several separated .DES for each .BGL section (you'll
discover what .BGL sections are by reading FS5STRUC!).

BGL.DES to decode .BGL header (and get section boundaries)
BGL_00.DES to decode sections 00
BGL_0106.DES to decode sections 01 to 06
BGL_09.DES to decode sections 09
BGL_11.DES to decode sections 11
BGL_12.DES to decode sections 12
BGL_13.DES to decode sections 13
BGL_14.DES to decode sections 14
BGL_15.DES to decode sections 15
BGL_16.DES to decode sections 16

Because these .DESses are unable to completely parse a .BGL, but only a
section, they MUST be used with a host of parameters:

FSDECODE InputFile Outputfile /FFromOffset /TToOffset /U /DDesFile

You may refer to FSDECODE documentation for details on these parameters.
In the mean time, I also prepared some .BAT files which call FSDECODE with
the right parameters to decode the WORLD1.BGL, WORLD3.BGL, WORLD4.BGL and
WORLD5.BGL supplied with FS5. You may examine these .BAT to familiarize
yourselves with the mechanism.

Use:

WORLDHDR.BAT to decode .BGL header
WORLD00.BAT to decode sections 00
WORL0106.BAT to decode sections 01 to 06
WORLD09.BAT to decode sections 09
WORLD11.BAT to decode sections 11
WORLD12.BAT to decode sections 12
WORLD13.BAT to decode sections 13
WORLD14.BAT to decode sections 14
WORLD15.BAT to decode sections 15
WORLD16.BAT to decode sections 16

The created files have names of the form:

WORLDxxy.LST

each containing the decoding of section XX of world Y.

Be aware that several of these .BAT generate several files and sometime
produce MEGABYTES of output!

Any feedback is welcome!
