Announcement of NetTerm 2.3 for Microsoft Windows

Houston, Texas, August 5, 1995 -- InterSoft International, Inc announces
the new release of NetTerm 2.3 for Windows. NetTerm is a Windows 3.x
and Windows 95 compatible program which offers the following:

     1. On-line phone book for both Unix telnet and bulletin boards.

     2. Supports both VT100 and ANSI terminal emulation with full
color and ANSI graphics. Automatic switching between vt100
         and ANSI escape sequences.

     3. User defined number of scroll back lines.

     4. Support for the popular Trumpet TCPIP stack. Includes example
scripting file for dialing a SLIP/PPP host, logging on, and
obtaining the dynamic IP address under complete script control.

     5. Scripting language for automatic login, setting up custom
programs such as Trumpet and detection of Internet provider
         IP addresses.

     6. Built in phone dialer for all hosts, including SLIP/PPP.

     7. Every key can be defined as to what it sends to the host.
You can even define keys such as F1-F12 to send long
         strings such as 'FTP FTP.MICROSOFT.COM'.

     8. File transfers using ZMODEM and Kermit with all hosts, even
locally attached and SLIP/PPP UNIX systems.

     9. Easy modem setup and initializing.

    10. Supports corporate PIN numbers as part of the dialing string.

    11. Now supports full transparent printing from a UNIX host.
Includes a UNIX script file that you can upload to your host
to send text files to your computer, using the transparent
feature. Allows printing of UNIX text files on your local
Windows printer, or just place them in a local file for
         editing.

    12. Now supports the zmodem "send command to host option".
If NetTerm receives a zmodem command, it will execute that
command. For example, if you enter the sz -c "notepad file.txt"
command on a UNIX host, NetTerm will start the program notepad
giving it the filename of myfile.txt to edit. A quick and
easy way to send a file to your local pc, then edit that file.

    13. Now supports remote host file editing. This allows you to
download a file from a host, edit with your editor, then
upload back to the host, with just one simple command on the
host. Now you can use your favorite Windows editor to change
         your host files.

InterSoft International, Inc. is one of the first to provide Zmodem
file transfer for both dialup and local ethernet connections. This
means you can connect to your Unix based systems, and transfer files
with Zmodem whether you are at the office or on the road. For
developers of WWW home pages, it provides a flexable easy way to access
an Internet account, with SLIP, PPP or a shell account and perform
file transfers.

NetTerm provides an extremely easy to use program for your dialer,
telnet, bulletin board and file transfer needs in one simple user
interface.
