Expert Home Design for Windows (TM)

README.TXT

Thank you for choosing Expert. There are no revisions to the program
documentation. This is to provide you with information about the un-
install program, and notes about two Bonus files.

1. The Un-Install program:

Like many Windows programs, we make changes to a system file, and copy
files to your Windows directory. We tried to keep that to an absolute
minimum. If you decide that you don't want Expert Home Design for
Windows on your hard drive, we've provided a way to reverse our
installation.

In the directory in which you installed the program, you'll find a
program called UNINSTAL.EXE. Double click on this file name in File
Manager to un-install the program. (Note: do NOT use the Run command
from Program Manager. If you forget to enter the correct path, you
may accidentally call some other program's un-install!)

The Un-install program will:

- reverse the changes to WIN.INI made by the install program.
- delete the DESIGNW.INI file.
- delete the program and library files in the Design directory.

It will not erase any of the document files you made (.DGW files), in
case you change your mind and want to put the program back on your
hard drive. Consequently, it will not erase the directory.

The Un-install program will delete the program icon. It will not
delete the program group, in case you added other icons to it. If
you're running Windows 3.0, it will not delete the additional library
(for Common Dialogs); we have no way of knowing whether other programs
may be using it.

2. The Bonus files:

The two Bonus files are scanned drawings illustrating sample plans one
and three.

When installed, you will see icons for each file in the Design group
in Program Manager (or another group is you so specified). When you
double-click on these icons, the Paintbrush accessory will appear with
the bitmap file loaded.

If you decide later you wish to remove the bitmap files, these are the
file names:

	SAMPLE1.BMP
	SAMPLE3.BMP

Thank you.
