PHOTO DECOMPRESSION -- TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES

Garden: Plant Selector includes more than 100 full-color photographs to help you find
precisely the species you need for your yard. While installing this software, however,
some computers may have trouble decompressing its image files. If your computer has
this problem, you'll encounter one of these symptoms:

 - You'll see an error message during photo decompression.
 - Your computer will "lock up" during photo decompression.
 - Installation will appear to go smoothly. But while you use this product, the software
will post messages that it can't find certain bitmap files. Example: "Can't find
    p103.BMP."

If you run into this problem, the solution is simple. Please follow these five steps:

1. Reboot your computer.
2. Exit all programs except the Windows Program Manager.
3. Choose the "Run" command from the Program Manager "File" menu.
4. Type "c:\btw\plantsel\leadtool\decombmp.exe". If you did not install Garden: Plant
Selector to the BTW directory on your C drive, please revise this command
    accordingly.
5. Click "OK".
