PRINTING PROBLEMS ON THE CANON BJC-600

There is a known problem with printing using the 2.0c driver from Canon
on the BJC-600 when using the default pattern mode. Some documents
will come out with white and black reversed, or part of the art missing.
Canon is aware of the problem, and has an easy solution:

Access the Print Setup dialog, and press Setup. Then selection Options
for the Canon BJC-600. Switch the Halftone mode to Diffusion, and press OK.
You will now be able to print correctly.

PRINT ADJUST DIALOG

In order to accomodate certain printers that have large margins (i.e.,
smaller printable areas) a Print Adjust dialog has been added under the
File menu. Use the Print Adjust dialog when you feel that some of the
artwork may have been cut off, or if you want to squash some elements
of the artwork.

Use the Print Adjust features sparingly; in most cases, Stationery Store's
defaults will make all the print adjustments automatically for you.

QUICK GUIDE TO MAIL MERGE

The manual is a bit unclear on the steps necessary to perform a proper
mail merge action. You must perform two steps to get a proper mail
merge to work:

1. Insert the merge codes, using either "Mail Merge" or "Invidividual
Mail Merge Codes" from the Insert menu.

2. Select which addresses you want to print out, using "Select
Addresses" from the Insert menu.

After that, when you print, the mail merge codes will be substituted
with the actual text from your address book.
