                            CALLER ID Program

A. SETUP SCREEN
This should appear the first time you run CID. If it doesn't, press
the Setup Button on the main menu. This screen sets up the different
        stuff of the program.

        1. AT Command. This is the command you would normally send to your
modem to turn on CID. The AT in front of the command
doesn't have to be there. If it's not, the program
will put it there for you. So if you don't type it
yourself, don't be alarmed if you look again and it's
there. If your modem can save settings, and the CID
init. string is saved, or you don't have to manually
turn CID on, then you can leave this blank (But it
                        will be replaced by AT).

        2. Sound File. This is the MIDI or Wave sound file to play. If you
don't have a sound card, then you don't need to use
this. Make sure Prompt With Music is NOT checked if
you decide to leave this blank. It won't accept a
blank Sound File if it is checked.

ALSO: It only checks to see if a file EXISTS. It
doesn't check to see if it's a real Wave or MIDI file.

        3. Comm Port. This is simply the Port your modem is set to. If this
is wrong, the program will tell you that it's an
                        invalid Port.

NOTE: For some reason, if you're Port is set to 3, it
will take 2 as the port, although it does tell
you it didn't recieve a 'OK' from the modem. I
couldn't figure this one out, so if you have any
clues, please tell me about it.

        4. Sound Type. This tells the program what kind of Sound File you want
                        to use.

        5. Prompt W/Music. This tells the program to play a song over and over
when a Call comes in. The song should play until the
                           Stop button is pushed.

B. CALLER ID screen
This shows all of the calls, one at a time. Previous and Next buttons
go to the Previous and the Next calls, respectively (hmmm). It's a
fairly easy to understand program I think. Anyways, this is the
program. The Stop button stops the music. The Clear button erases all
of the Calls in memory. The label "Calls # / #" is the same as
"Calls Current / Total", referring to the number of Calls of course.

Well, I think that's about it. If you have ANY problems with it, please let
me know. This is my first program to release, or whatever, and I want it to
be good. Feel free to give it to anyone else who can use it. Oh yeah, if
you're not using a Supra 14.4 modem then please (please, please, please) tell
me if it works. I haven't been able to test it on other modems yet, so this
would really make me feel better if it worked. Umm, I can't think of anything
else, soo, umm, oh, if you get a call that doesn't work with CID tell me what
happens. Every one I've gotten has worked, but I think some places might use
it.

UPDATE: I've decided to include another copy of the program in the zip. This
one has the name feature in it, but I don't know if it works, my area doesn't
use the name. I think it should work, but if you have the name feature, use
this program and tell me what happens. I guess this should be considered a
beta version, but I don't like saying it's a "beta". Oh well, please tell me
what happens when you use it, it should work, but you can never tell. I can

future programs that I write, you will automatically be registered for
AND recieve FREE copies of. Not that I'll release very many good programs,
but you never know. You also get customized programs if needed (like YOUR
name somewhere on the screen!). But really if I can, I'll do anything
within my power to help you out, IF you help me out just a little.
