FastVGA 1.0, (C)1993-1994 by Tal Cohen
--------------------------------------

Welcome to FastVGA, the ultimate game / demo / animation
programmer's toolkit for Borland's Pascal family of compilers.

This README file contains a few important notes and last-
minute notes. Make sure you read it.

PLEASE READ FASTVGA.DOC FOR A COMPLETE DOCUMENTATION.

  IMPORTANT:

This is a final, non-beta version of FastVGA 1.0. The
registered version is AVAILABLE NOW. Anyone registering
FastVGA 1.0 is entitled for one additional free upgrade.

Use the REGISTER.FRM for registering FastVGA.

  INSTALLING FastVGA:

See section 1.3 of FASTVGA.DOC. Generally, just open the
main ZIP file (you probably already did that if you're
reading this file,) and open DEMOS.ZIP and UTILS.ZIP into
seperate DEMOS and UTILS sub-directories. Then open either
   TP60.ZIP or TP70.ZIP, depending on which compiler you use;
to program in DPMI, open BP70.ZIP as well.

  PROBLEMS:
If you encounter any errors, make sure you read chapter 17
of FASTVGA.DOC before calling for help.

If you encounter any problems when using the mouse with SeDIT
or FromPic (esp. if you use the Genius Mouse,) load SeDIT or
FromPic with the "/M" command line option.

A NOTE ABOUT THE DEMO PROGRAMS:
The demo programs STARDREK.EXE and DEMOVOC.EXE were compiled
with the registered version of FastVGA. DO NOT recompile them
with the shareware version, since they used features available
only in the registered one (background music/sound playing.)
