Autodesk Beta Program Guidelines

Welcome to the Autodesk Beta Program. These documents will give you the
information needed to successfully participate in the Beta Program. Please
take the time to read them thoroughly.

We are very excited to be so close to getting you product. Your committment
toexercising beta software and providing feedback is highly valued and we
look forward to this partnership with you.

Please remember that all information associated with this program is highly
confidential. The success of our software and this company may depend on
your adherence to the Non-disclosure Agreement you sign.

Participation

To participate in the program, it's mandatory to submit an application and
two original hard copies of the Autodesk, Inc. Non-disclosure form; one of
which will be signed by an Autodesk, Inc. representative and returned to
you for your files. No discussion of testing or demonstration of a beta
product outside of the test environment is allowed during the beta period
prior to product release without prior written permission from Autodesk, Inc.
The fact that you will be participating as a beta site for Autodesk is also
considered confidential information.

Once you receive your beta software and documentation, we request that you
generate feedback on a weekly basis. We prefer you use the Beta Weekly
Report supplied in order to maintain a standard report form. The Beta
Weekly Report form is different from the Bug Report form. The Weekly Report
is designed to generate feedback of bugs found (a summary), features used,
wish list items, and other miscellaneous findings. This feedback is the
most important aspect of the beta process, so please report any findings or
suggestions you have no matter how trivial.

Additionally, you may be contacted by Autodesk for purposes of Marketing
feedback. We may also request you to provide us with any sample files you
may create which illustrates the functionality of this new release.

Beta software is by nature unstable. Some operations may be hampered by the
instability. Backups should be used whenever possible to decrease your
chances of lost work.

Participants unable to continue the program need to notify us immediately in
writing with an explanation of why and when able to resume, if possible.

Communications

The purpose of a beta program is to obtain feedback from people doing
real-time work with our software. This requires a coordination of efforts
from you to specific groups at Autodesk who will need your feedback to
improve current and future products.

Information will be distributed to groups such as: Quality Assurance,
Development, Marketing, Technical Publications and Product Support. From
time to time, you may be contacted directly by people from these groups.

Information you give to others in the company may not be distributed to the
proper groups. It is very important to direct your feedback to me to avoid
miscommunication or lack of communication. If you do speak with someone else
in the company, please make sure your weekly report contains anything you
report.
