Disk Space Requirements:
--------------------------
Allow approximately 3K bytes per Autotest record in your databases.

CMS For Windows requires free disk space equal to the size of your
database to perform the sorting, filtering (selecting), printing, and
print previewing functions.

Network Users:
--------------------------
CMS For Windows is not a network product. It will function properly
when installed on a network; however multiple users
cannot access the same database at the same time.

New Features:
--------------------------
1. Records with the same circuit ID are now supported.
2. Table view of data has been added (see on-line help).
3. Localized reports (French, German, Spanish) are now available.
4. Unlimited records are now supported (assuming available disk space) .

Restrictions:
--------------------------
1. Databases created in the Limited version of CMS For Windows (V1.01)
cannot be directly opened or exported to with the Unlimited version of
CMS For Windows (V2.01). Create a new database with the File,New command
and use the File,Import from Database command to import the limited
version database into the unlimited version of CMS For Windows.

2. The CMS For Windows User Guide (2935-4547-01 Rev 1 2/94) does not
include the View,Table command, the Option,Field command or the Table
View feature. See the on-line help for details.

3. If you use the File,Delete CSV File command to delete a CSV file which
has the 'RO'(Read-Only) attribute set, the operation will appear to process
normally. However, the CSV file is not deleted and remains in the directory.
Use the Windows File Manager to remove the 'RO' (Read-Only) attribute so it
can be deleted.

4. To copy an existing database Template from one database to another,
use the File,Import from Database command. The File, Export to Database
command will not copy the Template from one database to another.

Recommendations:
----------------
1. In the Options Setup screen, be sure that the selection box
for "Retain Scanner CSV Files" is checked. This option saves
your imported Scanner data as a CSV file. If you encounter problems
with your imported scanner data, you can directly access the data
via the CSV file without having to perform another download from
   the Scanner.

CSV.EXE Utility:
----------------
CMS for Windows includes a utility, CSV.EXE, that converts PentaScanner
text reports into CSV records that can be imported into the CMS for
Windows databases. The utility is intended for users who have stored
electronic copies of Autotest Reports generated by the PentaScanner
while running software version 1.01a or 1.10a. By specifying the input
and output filenames, you can convert saved reports into CSV records
to import into CMS for Windows.

To use the utility, type the following at the DOS prompt:

	CSV infile outfile

	where:
infile is the input file containing Autotest Reports in text format
outfile is the output file containing CSV records converted from the
	input file

If the output file exists, the utility will prompt you prior to
overwriting the file. While conversion is in progress, a record counter
will display the number of the records processed.
