HOW TO INSTALL THE REMOTE OFFICE HOST WITH WINDOWS FOR WORKGROPS
      ----------------------------------------------------------------

WFW requires the NDIS interface into Remote Office. Fortunately,
WFW has a very effective setup program which can be instructed to
modify its configuration files to accomodate Remote Office.

If Windows for Workgroups was installed before Remote Office, the
Remote Office install procedure will copy a file called "OEMROF.INF"
to your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. Once the Remote Office install
has been run, the following steps must be performed to complete
  the setup:

  1. Load windows and go into the "CONTROL PANEL".
  2. Choose the "NETWORK" icon.
  3. Choose the "ADAPTER" icon.
  4. Remove the current adapter setup.
  5. Choose "ADD".
  6. Select "Stampede Remote Office NDIS Driver" as the adpater.
  7. Choose "PROTOCOL".
  8. Remove "Microsoft Netbeui"
  9. Add "Microsoft Netbeui with Remote Office Parameters".

If Windows for Workgroups is installed after Remote Office, then
the following steps must be performed to complete the setup:

  1. Load windows and go into the "CONTROL PANEL".
  2. Choose the "NETWORK" icon.
  3. Choose the "ADAPTER" icon.
  4. Remove the current adapter setup.
  5. Choose "ADD".
  6. Select "Unlisted or Updated Network Adapters".
  7. At the prompt for OEMSETUP.INF, enter your Remote Office directory.
  8. Select "Stampede Remote Office NDIS Driver" as the adpater.
  9. Choose "PROTOCOL".
  10. Remove "Microsoft Netbeui"
  11. Add "Microsoft Netbeui with Remote Office Parameters".

This will then make all of the modifications necessary to run Windows
for Workgroups on top of Remote Office.

  IMPORTANT:
Windows for Workgorups may insert a "NET START" line at the
begining of the AUTOEXEC.BAT file. If this is the case, remove
that line and use the ROSTART.BAT file located in the ROFFICE
  directory.

If you wish to load the system using an alternate BAT file, the load
sequence should be similar to the following.

  CD\ROF
  ROFFICE
  NDROF-E
  NET START NETBEUI
  RO LOGIN HOST
  WIN
