*STORES,A
     This file contains a description of the communications parameters
     that the Hub will use for each Store when it initiates a 
     communications session with the store.   
 
     Each store includes a store ID, name, phone numbers for voice
     and data, contact name, device ID for communicating, whether 
     communicating directly or by modem, and the baud rate, data bits, 
     parity, and stop bits. 

*STORES_ID,A
     Enter the ID of the store, or press PgUp or PgDn to display the 
     information for the next or previous record on file.  When a store 
     is displayed, you may press F4 at this (or any field) to copy it 
     to a different Store ID.

     Numeric entries of less than 3 digits are reformatted to include 
     leading zeros, to ensure compatibility with Point of Sale store numbers.

*STORES_NAME,A
     Name of this store.

*VOICE_PHONE,A
     Number of the phone not used for transmission.

*DATA_PHONE,A
     Number of the phone used for transmission. Required if using a modem.
     Include a "," at any position to cause a 2 second delay.

*CONTACT,A
     Name of contact individual at this store.

*PORT_NAME,A
     At the Hub, the name of the port (or device) to which the 
     Hub's communications device is attached.  At the Store, 
     the name of the port to which the Store's device is attached.

*CONNECTION,A
     Press Space to alternate between "Modem" or "Direct".

*BAUD_RATE,A
   Press F2 to choose from a list of baud rates. 

*DATA_BITS,A
   Press Space to alternate between "7" and "8".

*PARITY,A
   Press F2 to choose from "None", "Odd", or "Even" parity. 

*STOP_BITS,A
   Press Space to alternate between "1" and "2".

*FILELIST,A
    This file contains lists of files that are to be sent or received.   
    Each filelist includes a filelist ID, description, the name of each
    file as it exists at the Hub, the corresponding name of each file at]
    the Store, and whether the file is required or optional. 

*FILELIST_ID,A
    Enter the ID of the filelist, or press PgUp or PgDn to display
    the information for the next or previous record on file.  When 
    a filelist is displayed, you may press F4 at this or the next 
    field to copy it to a different filelist.

*FILELIST_NAME,A
   Description of this filelist. 

*HUB_FILE_NAME,A
   Name of the file at the Hub.  Include the character "#" at any 
   position in the filename to substitute the current Store ID 
   for "#" at Polling time.  Press F4 at a filename to copy it
   to the next line.

*STORE_FILE_NAME,A
   Name of the file at the Store.  Press Enter to use the same 
   name as the Hub.

*REQUIRED_FLAG,A
   Answer Y if the file is required for a successful transmission,
   or N if the file is optional.

*ACTIVITIES,A
     This file contains the polling activities that can occur between the
     Hub and each Store. 
 
     Each activity includes an activity ID, name, the time to begin the
     activity, logfile name for recording the results of this activity, the
     length of time with no response after which to disconnect (timeout), 
     and the number of times to retry non-responding stores.   
 
     Also included in each activity is a list of "events" for that activity. 
     An event describes which store to call, the filelist to be sent, and
     the filelist to be received.  Up to 150 events can be defined for an 
     activity. 

*ACTIVITY_ID,A
     Enter the ID of the activity, or press PgUp or PgDn to display 
     the information for the next or previous record on file.  When 
     an activity is displayed, you may press F4 at this or the next 
     five fields to copy it to a different activity.

*ACTIVITY_NAME,A
   Description of this activity. 

*BEG_TIME,A
   Enter the time of day this activity is to begin.  Press Enter for "ASAP".  

*LOG_FILE,A
   Name of the logfile for this activity or to be used as a default.
   The default logging information (entered in Defaults) is shown 
   and may be changed for a single activity. 

*TIMEOUT,A
   Length of time, in seconds, to wait for an answer or acknowledgement 
   to each data group sent or received during this activity before aborting.

*RETRIES,A
   Number of times the Hub will re-attempt communications with a store 
   that does not respond or drops its connection, after other 
   stores (events) for this activity have been polled.  

*STORE_ID,A
   ID of the Store to be called for this event. 

*SEND_ID,A
   ID of the Filelist to be sent to this Store.

*RECEIVE_ID,A
   ID of the Filelist to be received from this Store.

*POLL_ACTIVITY,A
   Enter the ID of the activity to be used for polling.

*DUP_KEY_FORM,A
     Use this to copy a record (or line) to another record (or line), 
     instead of entering all information for the new record.  You
     can then change the new record.

*DUP_KEY_KEY,A
     Enter the name of the record to be created.  If it already exists,
     you are asked if you wish to replace it. 

*DEF_LOG_PARMS_FORM
     These are the default logging parameters which are used 
     when defining stores and activities. 
 
     The default logging parameters in this file are also used
     when a store runs Multi-Poll in "Store" mode. 

*DEF_COMM_PARMS_FORM
     These are the default communications parameters which are 
     used when defining stores and activities. 
 
     The default communications parameters in this file are also 
     used when a store runs Multi-Poll in "Store" mode. 

*SCROLL HELP,A
     The following keys may be used at this point:   

        F4          Duplicate the current line 
        F7          Delete the current line
     PgUp/PgDn      Move up or down a screenload
