III. Installation Procedures
============================

To install WESU, please insert Diskette in drive A and type A:\WESU\SETUP.EXE
at the "Run" item of Windows Program Manager. After setup, Windows will
prompt you a dialog for input parameters. Those parameters are :

 Source -- Specifies the disk drive and directory where the original (Source
            ) copy of the program is located. Usually, the installation
            program is started from the original diskette. If the original
            diskette is in drive A, then this field should be A:. If the
            original diskette is in drive X, then this field should be X:.

 Destination -- Specifies the drive and directory (Destination) that you
            want to install the program on. If the specified directory does
            not exist, it will be created.

 SUSPEND time -- Specifies the SUSPEND time. Note that the maximum SUSPEND
            time is 999 minutes. The minimum SUSPEND is 1 minute. The default
            SUSPEND time is 20 minutes.

 OFF time -- Specifies the OFF time. Note that the maximum OFF time is 999
            minutes. The minimum OFF time is 1 minutes. The default OFF time
            is 40 minutes.

If OFF time is set less or equal to SUSPEND time, the monitor will enter
OFF mode directly when the time set for OFF mode expires. SUSPEND time will
be ignored.

In general, you can just press the OK button to install the default settings.
After installation, both DOS and Windows versions will be installed on the
destination directory. You can restart the PC to activate ESU, and restart
Windows or click the icon in "StartUp" group to activate WESU.

If you change settings after installation, the DOS and Windows versions will be
independent. That is, changing WESU's OFF or SUSPEND does not affect ESU's.

IV.  Changing Settings after Installation
=========================================

To reconfigure WESU, please run WESU and select "Setting" item of WESU's
system menu, a dialog box will then appear as below:

 SUSPEND time -- same as above.

 OFF time -- same as above

 Password Protected -- When WESU is password protected, the user cannot
         deactivate it and return to the Windows session without typing
         the password in a dialog box.

 Set Password -- for setting or changing the password.

V. ESU for DOS version
======================
In DOS environment, an entry to activate the ESU at boot will be appended to
"C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT" after setup. If you want to change the parameters of ESU,
you can modify "C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT" or just run ESU again to reset them.
If you don't need ESU again, just type ESU /U to remove ESU from system.

You can run "ESU.COM /?" for help.

Usage: ESU [options]
/H or /?  : Help, as this.
/S:nnn : Set the SUSPEND time to nnn (1~999) minutes.
/F:nnn : Set the OFF time to nnn (1~999) minutes.
/U : Remove this program from memory.

For examples :
   ESU /S:10 /F:20 -- Set SUSPEND time to 10 minutes, OFF time to 20 minutes
   ESU /U -- remove ESU from memory

VI. Limitations
===============
1. The WESU cannot work in full screen DOS prompt session in Windows.
