				BEFORE LIGHT
			   GRAPHIC SCREEN SAVERS

Where are my Before Light Graphic Screen Savers located?

Before Light screen saver modules for Windows 3.1 are installed directly
into Microsoft Windows and can be selected with "Control Panel\Desktop" in
the same manner that you would activate any other Windows 3.1 saver. They
will appear in the Screen Saver listbox with your other Windows 3.1 screen
savers. Your Before Light Graphic Screen Savers begin with the letters "GS"
so that you can identify them at a glance. They are installed into your
C:\WINDOWS directory so that they can be accessed from the Control Panel.

How to activate a Windows screen saver:

Step 1: Use your mouse to select the "Main" program group which
		 is found in Program Manager.

Step 2: Click your mouse on the "Control Panel" program.

Step 3: Select the "Desktop" program item.

Step 4: When the "Desktop" dialogue window appears, you will
find a screen saver list box located in the left center
portion of the window. Use your mouse to move the
scrollbar arrows up and down. View the screen saver
titles and double-click the name of any saver that you
		 want to activate.

Step 5: The name of the screen saver that you selected will
appear at the top of the list box. Click your mouse on
the "Setup" button which is located to the right of the
list box to configure the screen or select a password.
Click the "Test" button to preview the screen saver.
Note: if your mouse is too sensitive, the test might
disappear as soon as you release your mouse key. Press
the Alt-T keys (at the same time) if your mouse movement
		 cancels the test.

Step 6: After you select your screen saver, click the "OK" button
and close the "Desktop", "Control Panel" and "Main"
windows to return to Program Manager.

Please remember that some of the screen savers contain multiple display
options. Test each screen saver from the Desktop to preview alternative
display options.

To deactivate a screen saver, follow the same steps but select "None" as
your active screen saver.

TROUBLE-SHOOTING TIPS

QUESTION: Do I have to delete my other screen savers before I can use
	   Before Light?

ANSWER: No, but you must deactivate any other screen savers
before you use Before Light. With the exception of
the Windows 3.1 default screen savers, any other
screen saver modules will probably conflict with
Before Light. You should not try to run two screen
		    savers at the same time.

QUESTION: My screen savers do not appear in the Windows Desktop. What
	   is wrong?

ANSWER: Windows 3.1 screen savers must be installed in your
main Windows directory. Otherwise, they cannot be
accessed by Microsoft Windows. Reinstall the files
or use File Manager to copy the screen savers into
		    your main Windows directory.
