Midisoft Studio For Windows, Version 3.10 Dealer Demo

This dealer self-running demo is specifically for the following configuration:
	1) PC (286, 2 Meg Minimum)
	2) Windows 3.1
	3) Sound Card for which a Windows MIDI Map has been defined.
	4) This Midisoft Studio for Windows Dealer Demo disk

Setting Up The Dealer Demo:
	1) Start Windows 3.1
	2) Confirm that your Sound or MIDI hardware is installed:
	   a) From Windows' Control Panel, select "Drivers." Confirm that the
internal sound of your card is installed (such as "Ad Lib"
for Sound Blaster's internal sound, or "MPU-401" for Sound Canvas).
	   b) From Windows' Control Panel, use the "MIDI Mapper" icon to
set up and check the mapping. Hit "Edit" to confirm that channels
1-10 are being mapped to a device! If so, you are using
Extended-level (see 4B below). If instead you have channels
13-16 mapped to a device, you are using Base-level (see 4C below).
	   c) Test the Media Player Applet that comes with Windows (in
Accessories). Make sure it plays Windows' CANYON.MID correctly.
	3) Put the Midisoft Studio Dealer Demo disk in A:
	   a) From Program Manager, Select FILE, select RUN, type A:INSTALL (Ok)
	   b) Follow instructions to install Midisoft Studio for Windows
	4) Double-click on the "Midisoft Studio" icon.
	   a) When you first start Midisoft Studio, select "Multimedia Drivers."
	   b) If you are using a Sound Blaster Pro or a sound card using the
Extended-level channels (1-10), select "Extended Level."
	   c) If you are using a Pro Audio Spectrum, or Sound Blaster (basic)
or other sound card using base-level channels (13-16),
select "Base Level." Also, we have a special song list for
this type of card. From the STUDIO subdirectory,
COPY FMLIST.TXT TO SONGLIST.TXT for this special song list.
	5) Exit and Restart Midisoft Studio to find Song List.
	   a) Answer OK to "A song list was found--Want to automatically play it?"
	6) Crank up the speakers, and prepare your cash register.

If you want to add other songs to the playlist (or take some out), edit
the TEXT file: SONGLIST.TXT in the \STUDIO subdirectory.
