 WHATSNEW V2.08

1: Added 2 fields in the SMART.CFG file for LOWSEC & HIGHSEC to bypass
SmartSec on certain Security Levels. Usually this is simple to do using
Security Specific Menus, but some SysOp's who doesn't use this can now
easily select wich levels to check or not. If a level is bypassed, you
can force a User into SmartSec by putting he's name in the BYPASS.USR
file even if he belongs to a LOWSEC & HIGHSEC exception.

Note: You *must* add line 17 & 18 in SMART.CFG with either LOWSEC &
HIGHSEC # or NONE as desired. Have a look in the supplied one...

2: LOWSEC & HIGSEC Users Datafield in Notes Line 5 are always updated in
case you change your mind and want them verified bu SmartSec later on.

3: Bug-Fix wich could make the DataField displaying something like:
0|0|0|0|0|||||||||||||||||||| If such a field is discovered, it's
fixed and updated correctly to the last entry.

Note: To update from a previous version - have a look in the new SMART.CFG
There are some new fields added wich you must use! To be on the safe
side, just re-configure the new supplied one for your neeeds. This new
version uses a increased datafield at Notes Line 5 with 5 parameters
stored. If you have been using our previous versions, this datafield
will be automatically updated to the new format as soon a user runs
        SmartSec the first time.

Also (recommended) is to clear the line 706 in PCBTEXT from the used
string: "Enter your mother's maiden name" and next line 706 "For
verification, enter your mother's maiden name". These lines are not
needed with SmartSec. Here at our BBS NewUsers with these two lines
cleared don't have to answer the questions. Just let SmartSec take
over when the user enters the BBS either started from a $$logon.bat
file or via a Menu and it will do the job...

Until we have switched from PPLC to MSC 7.0 + PCBoard Developers Kit
and made our external indexed database, we have to use Notes Line 5 to
        store our information needed.

Else there's nothing special in here, everything works fine and stable
at our system. (At Yours too? :-)

                                               Best wishes: Peter Laur
