README.TXT for ClipMate(tm) Bonus Files

Congratulations, and thank you for registering your copy of
ClipMate for Windows. As promised, here are your bonus files.
There is one new program, BITBNCE.SCR, which has not been
previously advertised. It is a Windows 3.1 - compatible screen
saver module, which animates a large ClipMate logo on your
screen.

Here are the files included in your BONUS:
MDIBALL.EXE	Animated Balls (256-Color)
BITBNCE.SCR	Screen Saver Module
CLIPMATE.BMP Bitmap for screen saver.

To use, copy the MDIBALL and PALDEMO to any directory.
Assign Icons in the Program Manager.

** About the BITBNCE Screen Saver **
This is a little toy, developed along the way of
creating ClipMate 2.0. It is far from a masterpiece,
but it will get the job done. It animates a bitmap
around your screen, and is fun for logos, and pictures
of yourself. The catch is, that it doesn't know how
to erase after itself, so you have to be a little
creative with the bitmaps that you provide. If you
draw a 4 pixel black border around the image, it will
effectively cover its tracks.
Examine the provided CLIPMATE.BMP to see what we're
talking about.

To use the BITBNCE Screen Saver, copy BITBNCE.SCR to
your WINDOWS directory. Copy the CLIPMATE.BMP to
the Windows directory, or wherever you keep bitmaps.
Install, and configure the screen saver with the
Desktop icon in the Control Panel. You'll need to
use the SETUP button to access the configuration
box, which will let you choose a bitmap. Remember,
unless you pick a bitmap with a thick black border,
it will leave tracks.

One of these days, we'll get around to making a real
screen saver out of this. The MDIBALL.EXE will also
be turned into a screen saver - someday....

Have Fun!
Chris Thornton
