NOTE: The asterisk indicates those libraries that use a different
name for the SuperClips disk directory.
The "###" indicates the number of digits associated with
each file within a library. For example, the "Maps" files range
in numbers from "MAPS001" TO "MAPS161."

               UPDATES TO THE SUPERCLIPS INSTALLER
                         DOCUMENTATION

>>>> COPYING FILES TO YOUR HARD DISK
The SuperClips Installer can copy single files or entire
libraries of image files to your hard disk. If you select "Copy
a LIBRARY file," you have two options:
     1. You can enter the name of the library (as it appears in
     the manual);

     or

     2. You may select the library from a menu
     style list.

To access the menu style list, press [ENTER] when you
are FIRST prompted to enter a library name. The library
menu list will open to permit you to select a library.
Use the cursor keys to highlight the desired library, and
press [ESC] to continue. You can only copy one library
at a time using the menu style list.
If you wish to copy multiple libraries, you may type
the names of the libraries. Simply type the name(s) of
the libraries you wish to copy onto your hard disk.

If you select "Copy an ART file(s)," you have two options:
     1. You can enter the name of the image file(s) (as it
        appears in the "Picture Catalog" in the manual;

     or

     2. You may select the library from a menu style list and
then select individual files from a second menu style
        list.

To access the menu style list, press [ENTER] when you
are FIRST prompted to enter an image file name. The library
menu list will open to permit you to select a library.
Use the cursor keys to highlight the desired library, and
press [ENTER]. You can only copy from one library at a time
     using the menu style list.
If you wish to copy multiple image files, you may type
the names of the image files. Simply type the name(s) of
the image file(s) you wish to copy onto your hard disk.

>>>> COPYING FILES TO SUB DIRECTORIES
Installing the entire 2,000 image files into one sub
directory is inefficient. In addition, the SuperClips Installer
may behave erratically if you try to install all files to one sub
directory. To assist in the copying of files to your hard disk,
the SuperClips Installer can copy files to their appropriate sub
directories or to one single directory.
For example, if you choose to copy SuperClips image files to
individual directories, all of the "Map" files will be copied to
a sub directory called "MAPS." If you designate a graphics
directory for the copy process, such as "GRAPHICS," then the
"Maps" files will be copied to the "GRAPHICS\MAPS" sub directory.
SuperClips Installer will automatically create any sub
directories required in the copy process.
A prompt screen has been added to the SuperClips copy
process that explains this feature. It is followed by a menu
that permits you to select "Copy files to individual directories"
or "Copy all files to one directory."
If you are copying more than 500 image files to your hard
disk, it is strongly suggested that you copy the files to
individual sub directories (select item "1", "Copy files to
individual directories"). If you are copying less than 500 image
files, you may use either function.

>>>> REMOVING FILES FROM YOUR HARD DISK
Since the SuperClips Installer can copy files to standard
sub directories, you must specify the sub directory from which to
delete files. If you used the automatic feature to create
necessary sub directories in a directory called "GRAPHICS" (see
previous section), all of the image files will be copied to the
standard sub directory for that library. When you are prompted
to enter the name of the clip art directory during file deletion,
you must specify the graphics directory as well as any sub
directories.

Examples:
1. If you used SuperClips to copy the image files to individual
sub directories:
To access the "Maps" image files on the "C" drive in a
directory called "GRAPHICS," you will have to specify
"C:\GRAPHICS\MAPS" as the location for the clip art files.

2. If you used SuperClips to copy the image files to one single
directory:
To access the "Maps" image files on the "C" drive in a
directory called "GRAPHICS," you will have to specify
"C:\GRAPHICS" for the clip art files.

You may only delete image files from one directory at a
time. If you wish to delete files from more than one directory,
reselect the "Delete Files" option in the Main Menu.

>>>> LOCATION OF FILES
The SuperClips Installer (and the installation program for
it) and the SuperClips Clip Art Hander (and the installation
program for it) are located on the last disk of the SuperClips
set. These disks are marked "Installation Disk" for convenience.
