Version Information
=====================================================
1.0 Initial release. Please read the notes below.

When you first start PC Paintbrush, the About
box appears on the program desktop. When you
click on the About box, the box
              disappears and PC Paintbrush automatically
              starts a new picture.
When you start the program for the first time,
the new picture is 400 by 300
pixels and is in 24 bit color. After you have
started a new picture with the New command on
the File menu, the new picture window that appears
after you click the About box is in the last size
and color mode you selected when you
chose the New command. Use the Preferences
command on the Options menu to change
what appears when you start a PC Paintbrush
session. Choose New if you want the New dialog
box to appear when you first start
the program. Choose Open if you want the Open
dialog box to appear. Choose Nothing if you want
nothing to appear on the PC Paintbrush desktop.

During setup, you can choose to copy the PC
Paintbrush Clipart Library to your hard disk. The
files are copied to a directory named
CLIPART. The clipart pictures are in the .TIF
file format and 24 bit color mode.
