Error Message - Font Problems "font name"

After a sucessful install of Do-It On Your Desktop, you may
see three error message boxes stating that there is a font
problem. These message boxes may be ignored. If fonts that
come with Do-It On Your Desktop are already installed on your
system, then these message boxes appear. This is most likely
to occur if you are re-installing Do-It On Your Desktop.

Included in this file are the following changes to the manual:

Systometers -Keyometer and Mousometer

Resetting the tachometer

Double-click on the red button on the far left of the
mousometer and the keyometer to reset the tachometer for
	these systometer gauges.

Program Manager Enhancer - Application Finder

Finding a Program

The Go To... button is now the Go To Program button.

Starting a Program

The Run the Program check box has been changed to the Run Program button.

	1.	Click on the text "Find a Program...".
	2.	Navigate through the list box until you have highlighted
the program title that you want to start.
	3.	Click on the 'Run Program' button.

Refreshing the Application Finder Program List

A new option has been added to the Application Finder. It is the Refresh
button. Application Finder reads the groups and program items in each
group to compile items listed in the Application Finder list box. Since
reading all of the programs in all of the groups can potentially take a
long time, Application Finder does not perform this read every time it is
activated. Whenever you make changes to groups and program items within
groups, you should refresh the Application Finder list.

	1.	Click on the text "Find a Program...".
	2.	Click on the 'Refresh' button.

			OR (Keyboard Instructions)

	1.	Use the F key shortcut.
	2.	Press the Tab key until the "Refresh" button is highlighted.
	3.	Press the Enter key.

Program Manager Enhancements - Attach Wallpaper

Do-It On Your Desktop, like many Windows applications, comes with its
own DYD.INI file. A .INI file keeps current settings for many of the
Do-It On Your Desktop programs. There is a setting in the Wallpaper
section of the .INI file for the current wallpaper assigned to the Do-It
On Your Desktop program (CurrentWP).

If you start a program that has wallpaper attached to it, its wallpaper
displays and becomes the Do-It On Your Desktop wallpaper. So whatever
wallpaper is active when the Program Manager Enhancer is shut down, becomes
the current Do-It On Your Desktop wallpaper, and is displayed when Program
Manager Enhancer starts up again.

The None and Blank Options

Follow the instructions in the manual regarding selecting a program and
then attaching wallpaper to that program. There are two new options to
choose from in the Wallpaper Selection list. They are the [None] and the
[Blank] options.

If you attach the None selection to a program item, then whenever that
program is started, the wallpaper is will not change. Whatever wallpaper is
active stays active. If you assign the Blank selection to a program item,
then whenever that program is started, the wallpaper changes to a blank
wallpaper.

Change Now

The Change Now button will immediately change whatever wallpaper is
displaying to the wallpaper you have selected.

	1.	Click on the text "Find a Program...".
	2.	Highlight a wallpaper to apply. Notice that when you
click on a wallpaper (.BMP) file, the system wallpaper
		changes to that highlighted paper.
	3.	Click on the Change Now button.

			OR (Keyboard Instructions)

	1.	Use the F key shortcut.
	2.	Highlight a wallpaper to apply. Notice that as you arrow
through the list of available wallpapers, the system
wallpaper previews the highlighted wallpaper (.BMP) file.
	3.	Press the Tab key until the "Change Now'" button is
		highlighted.
	4.	Press the Enter key.

Resetting the Wallpaper to Default

The Reset to Default button will change whatever wallpaper is displaying
to the current Windows wallpaper. The Windows wallpaper is set in the
Control Panel program item in the Main group. In other words, the Reset
to Default sets your wallpaper to the .BMP file that is in the WIN.INI
file. This does not reset your Do-It On Your Desktop wallpaper, it is
set in the DYD.INI file. So next time you start Program Manager Enhancer,
the Do-It On Your Desktop wallpaper will display.

	1.	Click on the text "Find a Program...".
	2.	Click on the "Reset to Default" button.

			OR (Keyboard Instructions)

	1.	Use the F key shortcut.
	2.	Press the Tab key until the "Reset to Default'" button is
		highlighted.

Look and Feel - Title Bars

Set Colors

Two new items have been added to the set colors drop down list box. Now,
you may change the color of the command menu line text and the color of
the Windows scroll bars. Follow the same procedures that are in this
section of the manual to change those colors.

Double Clicking the Hard Drive Systometer

Double clicking in the black window of the hard drive Systometer will start
File Manager by default. If you are using any other shell, you can launch
their equivalent of File Manager. Do this by editing the DYD.INI file,
which you will fine in your windows directory. In the [Main] section type:

	FileManager=filename.exe

where filename.exe is the name of the program you wish to run. If this
file name is not in the Windows directory then a full path name is required.
