Most modems must be set up in the proper manner in order to properly \
communicate with The Sierra Network. \
The \
owners of certain modems must modify the setup by entering codes \
(contained in their modem manual) to turn on or off modem features. \
Specifically, owners of Hayes modems with MNP (automatic error \
correction) must turn off the MNP feature. If you are not sure \
whether your modem needs a special setup, or if you don't know \
precisely what you are doing, please DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES, just \
press ENTER to accept the default setup. If you must make \
changes, please refer to the information concerning the Modem Prefix \
String in your Sierra Network instruction manual.
