XBR ANNOUNCES WINDOWS AND ISDN SUPPORT
 --------------------------------------

XBR Communications announced its PC Windows interface and ISDN support for
hi-BBS, the company's host software program for the Macintosh. The hi-BBS PC
Client application allows a PC Windows user to connect to a hi-BBS Server and
perform all of the same functions and provide the same graphical user
interface as a hi-BBS Client using a Macintosh.

The new ISDN capability provides hi-speed file transfer over ISDN networks
that support AT&T or Northern Telecom switches. By using NuBus compatible
ISDN cards such as the newly announced Planet-ISDN card from EuRoNis (covered
next time), system administrators can benefit from bandwidth on demand to
support worldwide communications.

The new version of hi-BBS, 1.06, also supports several new features. CD-ROMS
and remote volumes on a hi-BBS Server are supported through aliasing.
Available now, hi-BBS allows for unlimited users with server pricing based on
the number of simultaneous sessions a sysop wants to support. A two-channel
server runs $369 (U.S.), while a four-channel server retails at $569. Each
additional upgrade of $500 doubles capacity. Demo versions of the hi-BBS
Client, Server, and User manager are available free and can be downloaded
from the company's BBS. XBR Communications, 5253 Decarie Blvd., # 350,
