***** BUG INFORMATION ******
Bug Title : Windows NT Chat: hangs up when Alt+168 is typed.
Product Release : Build XXX (Windows NT Release Candidate 1)
Type "winver" at the command line while Windows NT is running.

Install Method : <x>CD-Rom < >WINNT.EXE < >Floppy
Previous OS : MS-DOS 5.0

Description of Bug :

The Windows NT Chat program drops the connection of the dialed
WinNT machine when a special character is typed during the session.
Type ALT+168 from the second Chat machine. The other machine is
identically configured to the below. I can reproduce this from
either machine. Microsoft Windows for Workgroups Chat does not
     have this problem.

Steps to reproduce the problem (please explain step by step):
  1. Run Windows NT Chat.
  2. Dial another Windows NT machine in same workgroup.
  3. Chat for a moment to verify that it is working.
  4. Type ALT+168 on other machine - connection hangs up for both parties.

Work-around:

     None found.
