About Microsoft Windows 3.1 and TrueType
****************************************

At the time this TTREADME.TXT file was written, Microsoft
Windows 3.1 had not been released. It is important to note
that Type Essentials could not be fully certified and
tested against a final product release of Windows 3.1.

In addition, TrueType is a new technology, available for
the first time on the PC in Windows 3.1. If you encounter
problems using Bitstream TrueType fonts, call your Windows
application vendor for information on the application's
support for TrueType. If you still have questions, call
Bitstream Technical Support. See the Bitstream product
support card for the Technical Support phone number and
hours.
