The BBS LEGAL GUIDE

Copyright 1993 Clary and Kraft

The BBS world has been hit by recent police seizures of major
systems.

Sysops have many legal questions about adult GIF's, copyright,
employer-employee relations, electronic privacy and other topics.

This program through--

full text of statutes with annotations,

tutorials (nuts and bolts explanations of the law),

menu driven legal forms generation,

and BBS screens, provides answers to the questions that real life
sysops, message networks and software developers of BBS products
have.

This archive contains the "basic" program. Each month additional
legal forms, tutorials and text are created. Depending on the
registration level desired (from $ 35 to $ 129) these updates are
either mailed or posted in encrypted form on support BBS systems.
All updates also contain answers to our users questions. The
areas of updates and upgrades are primarily chosen from user
requests. The complete program manual contains the all of the
details about registration.

MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

What does the program do?

You really receive 4 programs in one.

STATUTES

The first, is a educational program to read, review and learn
your legal rights by reviewing, on screen, the FULL annotated
text of laws and governmental regulations. The annotations,
prepared by an attorney, carefully point the out the parts of the
statute that are very important for your legal rights.

TUTORIALS

This program also features tutorials, which are instructional
texts that explain the nuts and bolts of various legal problems
in an easy to understand way. In addition, the tutorials feature
an on-line dictionary and the ability to examine both full text
of the laws and the explanation on screen.

LEGAL FORMS

The program provides many legal forms that are useful for the
entire BBS community. All forms are created by a menu driven
program. Many of the forms may be used as BBS screens or
bulletins.

WORD PROCESSOR

A recent addition is an on-line word processor which you can use
to alter forms once completed.

Features of all programs: An on line note pad, and on line help.
We also have a DOS shell which allows you to perform system
functions or run other program without exiting this Legal guide.

THIS PROGRAM IS NOT CRIPPLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The program requires an IBM compatible PC, XT, AT, 386 or 486
system running DOS 3.3 or higher with at least 448 K free memory
