Printing Large Images

When printing large (greater than 1024 x 1536 pixels) full-color images to
a grayscale PostScript laser printer, we suggest opening and printing the
image as grayscale instead of full color to minimize the amount of memory
required.

When printing in low memory situations, your printer driver may not create a
print but the program is operational but unaware of the fact the print was not
created. In order to create the print, additional memory or hard disk space
must be made available. Memory can be freed by closing contact sheet or
opening/converting image to smaller file size.

Exporting and Displaying Image Files

When saving a file as a TIFF image, the image resolution is incorrectly set to
1 dpi, making the image quite large and preventing it from printing properly.
To circumvent this problem, use the Rescale command from the Transformations
menu to set the resolution to the proper value for your printer or output
device.

Corrections to the User's Guide

On page 23 of the User's Guide, the user is instructed to use
CTRL-click to deselect individual nonadjacent images. To
deselect a single image use SHIFT-click.

The chart on page 39 that shows the sizes of images in pixels
and inches omits the largest size. An image that is 2048 pixels
by 3072 pixels measures 6.83 inches by 10.24 inches.
