*About.. Editing The World:
-
- World Properties:
- Each world has there own set
- of properties that don't change
- during game play. Unlike area
- properties. Here's a short
- explanation of these
- properties.
- Change title:
- No explanation needed.
-
- Edit INTRO and ENDING books:
- Six pages of text to start
- and end the game story. Each
- page has a picture made up
- of pics from the INTRO PIC
- LIST.
-
- Starting Properties:
- These are the characters
- settings for each NEW game.
-
- Item Properties:
- Each world has six items.
- Item pictures should remain
- the same in each area. Only
- the background color should
- Change. Items can be set
- for one use or continued
- use. Every time an item is
- used it will trigger an
- EVENT CHAIN. Unless CHAIN
- is set to 0. (Items like
- currency don't need a CHAIN.)
-
- Weapon Properties:
- Each world has three
- different types of ONE
- weapon. The three pics
- should remain the same in
- each area. (except
- backgrounds) The weapons
- should be hand to hand do to
- the attack & hit pics. The
- weapons are programmed to be
- of deferent qualities.
- Weapon #3 being the best.
-
- Bomb Properties:
- Bombs can kill or do damage
- to Character and Enemies.
- They can also destroy
- Obstacles N.P.C.s and
- Secret Moving Locations.
- Only one bomb can be set
- and exploded at a time.
-
- Obstacle Properties:
- Obstacle #1 can be moved to
- any Moving Space. Two of
- these obstacles can be
- stacked and moved at the
- same time.
- Obstacle #2 can be moved to
- any Moving Space. Only One
- of these obstacles can be
- moved around.
- Obstacles should be used to
- make interesting puzzles.
-
*About. Editing Area 1-4 Properties:
- Each world has four areas that
- the character can be
- transferred into. (Change Area
- Event) Each area has seventy
- deferent Pics. Thirty six of
- these have four frames. To
- simulate basic animation.
- The character has 20 pics and
- each enemy has 12 pics.
- N.P.C.s have 4 pics apiece.
- Each Area has a set of
- properties that change when
- a transfer occurs. They are
- the Map. Enemies. N.P.C.s
- Pictures and Picture Names.
-
- Editing Area Map:
- Maps are 50 x 50 viewable.
- 3 to 48 X 3 to 48 Playable.
- I suggest making the
- borders unreachable or
- blocked.
- * Try not to overload play map
- (9 x 9) With more than
- twenty enemies. If more
- than thirty enemies move
- into the play map some will
- sit idle.
-
- Secret Moving Spaces & Doors:
- Each map has four Moving
- Spaces where enemies cant
- move and items or bombs cant
- be dropped. The secret
- moving pic should look like
- another land pic to achieve
- the full effect.
-
- Editing Enemies:
- Each area has two deferent
- enemies that can be edited
- to increasing difficulties.
- also see..
- About Game play/Stats:
-
- Editing N.P.C.s:
- (Non-Player Characters)
- N.P.C.s are a great way
- to give information about
- the area and adventure to
- the Player. Each N.P.C. can
- trigger an EVENT CHAIN.
-
- Naming Pictures:
- All Pictures in each area
- must be named!
-
- Editing Pictures:
- Every picture in your world
- can be edited from here.
- There is a 3 x 3 pic view to
- help edit conjoining pics.
- There is also a 10 color
- pallet to put and get
- currently used colors.
-
- Keyboard Controls:
- f - Flip Pic
- s - Spin Pic
- c - Copy Pic
- p - Paste Pic
- a - Animate Pic
- Must be pic labeled "a"

- deferent types of events and
- each world has 400 event
- locations that can be edited
- and chained together to do
- almost anything. Each Event
- can be triggered by placing a
- marker on the map or a CHAIN
- from another Event. If an
- Event is placed on the map
- there is an option to remove
- its marker after use. If
- marker remains on the map The
- coinciding Event will occur
- every time the character moves

*About.. Battle Properties:
- What happens when the Character
- attacks an enemy?..
- Every time the character
- attacks damage is inflicted
- to the enemy.
- Damage = 1 to weapons
- Max Damage
- + Weapon O.B.
- + Character O.B.
- - Enemies D.B.
-
- What happens when an enemy
- attacks the character?..
- Every time an enemy
- attacks damage is inflicted
- to the Character.
- Damage = 1 to Enemies
- Max Damage
- + enemy O.B.
- - Character D.B.
- -characters weapon D.B.
-
- * There is a ratio variable
- that controls the character
- to enemy attacks. It is
- the largest enemy health
- divided by the strongest
- weapon (weapon 3) +1 and
- no greater than four. Plus
- the amount of enemies
- attacking the character.
- I know it seems confusing.
- * You'll need to do some trial
- test for each type of
- battle.(weapons vs. enemies)
-
- * I suggest making character
- and enemy health's high and
- damage- O.B.- D.B amounts
- as low as possible. But
- any thing will go.
-
