  +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ SHADOW APE +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Shadow Ape is a rather simple mouse controlled adventure game. Shadow Ape
is share-ware, so please send 3 pounds to:

    [address removed]

If I get enough money to the sampler and the VIDI-interface I can make the
much bigger game of Shadow Ape 2: Monkey Tree.

                                                              Metal Kid 1992

As you can see the text above was written ten years ago for the first
release of the game, which was for the Atari ST. No enhancements are made,
so it should be quite identical to the original release except for one
bugfix, some typo corrections and, of course, that this one is for DOS.
There is one typo left, but it's drawn on a picture and I didn't bother
  to change it.

You are not supposed to send any money to Metal Kid or anyone else. He got
a sampler over eight years ago (since it became standard on every PC
soundcard). And got he got THE VIDI-interface about a year before (and he
didn't get the money to buy it from selling shareware if you wonder). You
might think it's strange to talk abount THE samplar and THE VIDI-interface
if you warn't around those days. But I can tell you, back then it was
pretty much one sampler, one mouse, one monitor and so on. If you had an
Atari ST anyway (like us in TBD).

There has been some talk about an cosy orange border in every game, and
there hasn'r been one in any game, yet. This time the excuse that the game
is actually older than the idea of an orange border. But, as said before,
you probably don't care about the fucking border?

  See you around soon...

                                                                   GRiM 2001
