'Ghini Run v0.7
Released 6 August 2000
- Ghini Run is unleashed upon an unsuspecting world!
=================================================================================
Outrun. Released by Sega in 1986, the first decent driving game since 'Pole
Position 2'. It was absolutely awesome, and you never forgot the first time you
played it; truely a defining moment of gaming youth. Only a handful of games
ever have had that touch of '1st time magic', others I can think of are 'Golden
Axe' and SF2.

Could I ever hope to recreate the magic of Outrun in QuickBasic? No. Never. But
I'll stick my pennies in the gumball machine and see comes out...

GAME ISSUES:
Q) The sound doesn't work!
A) That's because there is no sound in this demo. Some people had problems with
the sound in the last version. Fear not, for the final game will feature ace
music and sound effects.

Q) The collison detection isn't 100% perfect
A) Yes, but still a huge improvement over v0.7. I'm still working to perfect it.

Q) Castle Fields is hard!
A) If you expect to take the whole course at full speed, you're asking for
trouble.

Q) Car sometimes get stuck against the scenery.
A) Will be fixed.

Q) The scenery doesn't always line up properly
A) I know, I know... will fix it..

Q) How do I set up EMS memory?
A) Windows can handle this for you; best way I've found is simply to remove
the EMM386.EXE driver from autoexec.bat. Otherwise, you want something like this:

		DEVICE=<path>\HIMEM.SYS
                DEVICE=<path>\EMM386.EXE RAM H=255
