1. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

The minimum system requirements for 5X are:

386 CPU with VGA video adapter
	2MB RAM
	DOS 3.0

The recommended system configuration is:

	Pentium 133 or higher
Sound blaster or compatible sound card
	32MB RAM
	Windows 98 OS

2. CONFLICTS / BUGS

CONFLICTS:

5X is designed for use under Windows31/95/98/DOS. Operation
in a DOS environment requires a memory manager such as EMM386.

5X is NOT intended for use under Windows NT/2000. NT/2000 users
should use a dual-boot configuration and load a compatible OS.
5X still CAN function under NT/2000, although the sound will not
play. To avoid additional errors, run 5X with the NOSOUND
argument: "5X NOSOUND". This can be done from a command-line
or via a batch file.

5X is intended for play in full-screen mode. Palette errors may
occur if you play in windowed mode. If this is acceptable, set
the mouse to exclusive mode for this application.
5X may become "chunky" if memory resources run low, although 5X
only requires about 1 megabyte of RAM for seamless performance.
If you do experience choppiness, try closing other applications.

BUGS:

No known bugs exist. 5X v1.0 is a final release and has been
thoroughly tested. If you think you have found a bug, please
report it to 5Xbugs@speedstrip.com. Opinions about design are
not considered bugs, although all comments are welcome.
