Introduction:
-------------
If you didn't get this game at my homepage, then check out my page. I
have lots o' programs to download.

You have just gotten the best in ASCII racers (not that there's alot
out there). Anyway, the version you have is the registered release 1.1. Now
before you say "Hey, ACSII sucks!", hold on. ASCII (don't worry I'm sane)
can be quite nice, for speed, and it's simple. Don't worry it's good, and
I'm working on a VGA version.

It took me about one week of hard programming, about two to five hours
a day, to complete. There was a lot of swearing and cursing, along with some
'two in the morning' programming sessions (probably where I got the idea).

What is it:
-----------
ROAD RUBB is a racing game, plain and simple, in this registered release
you can only race against time. There are three levels of difficulty.

How To Use It:
--------------
Get all the files in one directory and run SETUP.EXE to configuer
your sound drivers. Then run ROADR1_1.EXE. There is a help section.

Minimum Requirements:
---------------------
    Not really demanding.

    1) IBM PC-Compatable Computer
    2) 8086
    3) Any Version of DOS
    4) 200K Conventional Memory
    5) EGA

Recommended System:
-------------------
This is for a better playing experience.

    1) 386 or Faster
    2) VGA
    3) Sound Device:
            SoundBlaster (FX, Music, Volume Control)
                or
            Adlib (Music)
                or
            PC Speaker(FX)

Near future:
------------
I am currently working on version 1.2. Future releases will have:

        1) 3 New Cars (1.2)
        2) Computer Opponents
        3) Two Player Mode (1.2)
        4) Bumber Car Arena (1.2)
        5) New Music (1.2)
        6) New Sound FX (1.2)
        7) More Tracks (1.2)
        8) Track Editor
        9) Joystick Support *
        10) Modem / Serial Cable Capability *

        * - if I get around to it

After this I am going to do a VGA version of it (real graphics). Look
for these on my homepage in the near future.
