Yes - it's true...

Groov Buggies is no longer being developed (as of the 22nd of April, 1998).
However - MAJOR bugs might be fixed if reported to me.

There are a few reasons for this:
The thing was getting to big :P
As a result new things couldn't be added, one more command and it wouldn't
complile.
3D mode was FAR too slow, mainly because it had to do the 2d screen as well
for collision detection.
Screen mode 7 was too slow as well
Memory requirements were a bit extreme
GROOV BUGGIES II HAS STARTED!!!

Groov Buggies II is already faster - and I haven't really started on it yet.
The 3D rotation code has been done already, and it's FAST! Also, it's being
done as a group project - to make it the best game ever. Those working on it
are members of Firestare Entertainment (including me). Visit the page at
http://www.real.on.ca/~ryan/index.htm
to see just who we are, and what we all do.

Probable for Groov Buggies II:
Minimum of filled polygon graphics (and WILL be faster than GB I)
Better track designs (and more of them!).
MUCH better track editor, the editor for this version was put together mainly
for my use, and so it was quite nasty for others to use :(
*maybe* a multiplayer mode
Weapons are also a possibility, as are multiple vehicles...

So until then, say "so long" to Groov Buggies...

                                                   Pasco.
