SPLAT ver 1.20

Why-

I wrote SPLAT to learn to use SMIX by ETHAN BRODSKY. It was almost fun. I
have made editors available for this game. I'm not asking for registration
money, I am just passing along a somewhat fun game. I do hope to see some
neat SET files soon. (for more info, see SPLAT.DOC)

Tech-

SPLAT runs 320x200x256. It was writen in Borland Pascal with a little
assembler tossed in for speed. The same engine I am using here I plan to
use in an RPG project. Actually, plan isn't the correct word being that I
started the RPG before I started splat.

You must have a sound card to play splat. I think that any Sound Blaster
compatable card will work. Later I might change the game so that it can
be played without a sound card, but that just isn't much fun.

You must also have some expanded memory. About 390 k will work (I think).
This is just so the sounds can be loaded.

I have had very few problems running SPLAT from Windows 3.1. A few times
I got a message saying that the sound device was in use by another program,
but most of the time, it works fine.

I wrote this game on a 486DX33 with a pretty fast video card. I suffer from
slow down when I have lots of larger charactes shooting on the screen. I now
own a P133 so I have no idea how Splat performs on lower end machines.
