I used to think this was a hard game. but it really isn't. it will take a while
to get through, but nothing overwhelming. Ignore the quality of level 1. it
really isn't a good level, but I left it that way because its not particularly
difficult.
<edit:also ignore the quality of levels 3 4 and 5.
but I still like level 2! and level 4 has a nice song.>
good level to learn the controls.

there are no SFXs. just BGM.

story- this game has a story. theres a lot of story. I avoided making them
cinema style though. is just talking heads. It is actually just a lot of
people talking. no  real story content.


you have six lives. there are 5 levels. now on to the controls.

(keyboard only, I didn't buy a gamepad. I bought some games. listed in the
credits. at some point I'll get one though . .. yeah...)

7,8,9 save pics. one each for each level. or maybe its 6,7,8. anyways, doesn't
really matter. at least I'm sure 7 would save pics.

arrows-move about.

Ctrl- shoot left and straight.

Alt-shoot right and straight.

Ctrl + Alt- shoots left and right. but not straight.

Space- change direction of shot.(you can alternate between shooting in front
of you and behind you. indeed this is necessary unless you like dieing. so when
aiming behind yourself, Ctrl shoots down and left, and when aiming in front of
your self, it shoots up and left.

z- cycle through weapons.(note: x and c also perform the same function as z.
this is because ,when I was "playtesting"[i suppose] I would attempt to push z
and hit one of those buttons instead)

weapon one- regular shot. shoots full distance across the screen.medium strength.

weapon two- mines. shoots half distance across screen. stays in position for about
6 seconds. weak, but effective once you know where the enemies coming from. or
maybe its useless. I didn't use it much . . .

weapon three-blade shot. shoots half distance. strong. I like it on bosses.


So! thats all really. I hit 5 levels with this game. the story scenes only
took about 3 days to do. but I think they came out much better than puzzle
bombers. which took a few weeks.

thanks to . . . . the people listed in the credits. and also to future software.
way back, years ago, I was like.. . if I had a way to do paging in screen 13,
and a way to access large amounts of memory, i'll finally be able to make the
games I wanted. and now I can. of course , I usually don't, but eventually I'll
be able to once I get to be a better programmer.

this should be it for me and shooters. ok not really. i got about three more
planned. but I'll mix them up with other kinds of games.
