This addendum will outline the Enhancements that the PC version of Goal has other than
Amiga and ST versions.

FIRST AND SECOND KITS (KIT DESIGN)
On page 31 of the Goal manual it mentions two colour palettes for editing the main colour
and second colour of a teams shirt, on the pc versions there are three colour palettes.
The third is for changing the colour of a teams shorts.

SUBTITUTIONS
On page 21 of the Goal manual it says to press either the left or right Amiga keys to
select that you wish to make a substitution. This is now:-
Player 1 (home team) left shift key.
Player 2 (away team) right shift key.

THE SCANNER
On page 19 of the Goal manual it tells you of different keys that will change the size of
the scanner, because the scanner on the pc version is not overlaid on to the pitch it
cannot be turned off or resized, you can however use the V key to toggle the player numbers
on and off. Also, on Page 12 of the Goal manual it states what can be done to the scanner
in the options menu, this has been taken out of the PC version as it is no longer relevant.

CLEAR DISK, SAVE SETUP AND LOAD SETUP
On page 13 of the Goal manual you are told about the options for setting up different save
disks for Goal. As Goal only works on a hard drive everything is saved to that and floppy
disks are not required, the Clear disk option has been removed totally.

REPLAYS
On page 20 of the Goal manual it states you are only able to save 11 replay, but on the PC
you can save up to 100 replays or until your Hard drive is full, whichever happens first.

CONTROLS
As normal, Goal can be controlled by Joystick during a game, but also on the PC you can use
the Keyboard. The Keys are as follows:-

Move Left = K
Move Right = L
Move Up = Q
Move Down = A
Kick ball/Trap ball = ;
Scissor Kick/chip = Z

Also, the 2nd fire button on the joystick can be used to scissor kick or chip.

Normally the keyboard controls emulate joystick 1 - pressing Control-F2 makes the keyboard
controls emulate joystick 2 (Control-F1 returns to normal). If only one joystick is
connected to the PC, it can be made to emulate joystick 2 by pressing Control-F10
(Control F9 reverts to normal).

The calibration of the joysticks is set up when the game is loaded - if for any reason
the calibration needs to be changed while playing, press F7 or F9 to recalibrate the
central position of joystick 1 or 2, and press F8 or F10 to set the triggering point for
joystick 1 or 2 (joystick must be held at the required distance from the central point when
F8 or F10 is pressed).

Changes to file load/save and replay selection menus:-

When selecting a team, options, league or cup file to load or save, pressing delete will
delete the currently selected file (after prompting for confirmation). After selecting a
replay, pressing delete will delete the file.
