Quest is back with many new improvements over version 1.0. The
graphics have been redone to give it a whole new look. A new monster has been
put in the game, and there is a new concept, Food. You now must also eat to
survive the game. The secret passages have also been changed, along with the
position of keys, to give you something new to look for. The overall look of
each dungeon hasn't changed though. I hope you will in enjoy this version of
Quest as much as, or even more than, that of the previous version.

Object of the Game

An EVIL WIZARD has banished you to the depths of a dark dungeon and
now you must find a way out. Make your way to the stairs hidden in each level
of the dungeon. But to get there you must find keys along the way to open
doors to new sections of the dungeon level. If that wasn't hard enough you
must also battle monsters and fight your way to safty.

Items

Keys - The most needed of all items... The key can be used to open
                  up doors and treasure chests.
Jewels - These shiny items can be used to purchase things in between
levels. You can find them in bunches of three or one all by
                  itself.
Potions - This bottle of liquid will give you 10 hitpoints(but will
not exceed your maximum hitpoint level). Once you find(or
buy) one of these items, press the Enter Key to drink it.
Food - This piece of meat will help you survive your long trek
the dungeon. Once you find(or buy) one of these items,
press the Space Bar to eat it. Remember to eat it when you
are hungry to get the most out of it.
Chests - With a key you can find 6 jewels in one of these.

Monsters

Skeleton - Not very strong. These weak monster randomly roams the
                   dungeon.
Ghost - Not much stronger than the skeleton, but this monster can
move diagonally and is a little faster.
Zombie - Quite slow. These dead guys are pretty strong and they
                   will slowly hunt you down.
Mummy - (New) About the same as the zombie, only this monster can
take a lot of hits and still fight back.
Bats - Randomly flys though the dungeon. They are quite fast and
hard to hit. They are weaker than the skeleton.
Goblin - Small little guys that chase you through the dungeon halls.
They are fast, but not too strong.
Orc - Pretty slow monsters who wander around aimlessly. But if
you do come in contact with one, watch out, they are very
                   strong.
Dragon - It might not move much at all, but it is very strong. It
is protecting the exit to day light. You must beat it to
get out of the dungeon... Good Luck!!!

Hints

You don't really need any hints do you, I mean I am sure you can beat
the game without my help. But, if you really think you need some help I will
see what I can do for you. Here are some hints that I find really help me
beat the game(yes, I have beat it).

 - Raise your experience as fast as possible, it will make the later level a
lot easier. To do this try to only buy experience points in between
levels, unless you must buy something else to survive.
 - Always watch your hitpoints when fighting a monster, and try to keep a
   potion handy at all times.
 - There are secret passages all over the place. If you can find them you
   will be well rewarded.
 - Always try to destroy all monsters in a level. This will give you the
maximum amount of experience points you can get in a level(if your good you
should be able to get to experience level 10 by the end of the game).
 - Don't worry about your food too much. If you are fast your should be able
to get through 3 levels before you become hungry. Try not to ever buy
food, there is enough hidden in the levels for you to survive on.
 - If you need any farther help e-mail me, and I will try to help you as best
   I can. My e-mail address is mike@mwdsoftware.com.
