This screen allows you to set control of the players, sound and music.	The
pushed-in button is the selected option.

The first block of buttons sets the controls for players one and two. Only one
controller can be selected at a time. If you choose computer (the first row),
that player will be run by the CPU. Keyboard for player 1 is the right side
of the keyboard, and player 2 has the left side.

If you are playing two-player and you want both people on the same team,
select the play as teammates button. If you are playing alone, this button
does nothing.

Sound effects and music can be turned off entirely or adjusted in volume.
The up and down arrows push the volume five percent per click.

Finally, click on the Checkmark icon to return to the main menu.

Click in the rectangle to the right of Team 1. A yellow triangle will tell
you that the field is active. Next, select 1 of the following:

1. the NBA button which lets you pick one of the NBA teams,

2. the Custom button which lets you load a custom team you previously built
and saved, or

3. the Build Custom Team button which lets you assemble a new team of three
players.

*08*
Select the team you want by clicking inside its logo. The Western Conference
is on the right side of the screen; the Eastern Conference is on the left
side. If you double-click on one of the team logos, you will see a new screen
with player attributes for each team member.

*09*
The Custom button lets you use teams that you previously assembled.
Initially, this area will be blank, but will hold 12 of your custom teams.
To choose one of these teams, click on its name. A yellow triangle will
appear to the left of the name. If this is the team you want, click on the
Checkmark icon.

Double-click on a custom team name to get another screen that displays the
player cards and their attributes. Click on the Checkmark to leave that
screen and return to the list of your custom teams.

*10*
This lets you build a NEW custom team. Notice the three empty card holders
on the left side and the NBA team logos on the right. The goal is to fill
the empty card holders on the left with three players you select.

You want to fill the empty card holders on the left with three players you
select. First click on an NBA team logo with the player you want. The new
screen will show the players on that team.

*11*
This screen shows the player cards for the team you chose. To add a player
to your custom team, click inside an empty card holder on the left, then
click on the picture of the player you want. That player card will move
to the card holder and the player status will change from available to
drafted. Any player can only be on one custom team at a time.

To drop a player from your custom team, click the RIGHT mouse button inside
the card holder on the left side. The card holder will then be blank.

When you want a player from another team, clicking the checkmark will return
you to the team logos. Choose the team you want and continue.

When you have three players, leave this screen and click on the file folder
icon to save your custom team with a new name.

*12*
Notice the three small buttons below the team logo. In the CD-ROM version
when you have enough memory, these buttons control a video clip of that
player in action. From left to right, the buttons will Stop - Play - Pause.
Click the mouse on the middle button to start the video clip.

*13*
This screen shows the players in the team you selected. The attributes for
that player are on a scale of one to ten.

Double-click on one of the player pictures to get the full player card for
that person.

*15*
If you click on the file folder icon at the bottom, you will be able to save
your custom team. Be sure to use a new name so that you don't overwrite an
existing team.

*16*
To set up a tournament, select eight teams to fill the rectangles that
designate the first round in your tournament. Your eight teams can be NBA
teams, custom teams you have previously saved, new custom teams that you
build or any combination thereof. Click the left mouse button inside that
rectangle to move the yellow pointer to that location. Click on the checkmark
to have the program accept your changes.

Tournaments must be completed once they have been started.

*17*
If you have saved your last game, you can use the Restore Game icon on main
menu. Note that there can only be one saved game.

NBA Airborne '95 uses statistics compiled during the careers in the NBA.
These statistics determine the probability of the kind of shot taken and
whether or not a goal is scored.

The chart is a list of all the players in NBA Airborne 95. The symbols at
the top of the column stand for the following:

	G Goals
	M Minutes Played
	FGM Field Goals Made
	FGA Field Goal Attempts
	FG% Field Goal Percentage
	3PTM	3-Point Shots Made
	3PTA	3-Point Shots Attempts
	REB Number of Rebounds
	AST Number of Assists
	STL Number of Steals
	BLK Number of Blocked Shots
	PTS/G	Points per Game Average

Click the left mouse at the top of the column to re-sort the players with the
best statistics for that column. This is especially useful when you are
creating custom teams. To find the best rebounder for your team, click at the
top of the column REB. The list re-sorts and displays the players according to
highest number of rebounds down to the lowest number.

Press the up or down triangles on the right side of the screen to scroll
through the statistics.
