				GET THE MESSAGE
				
The object of the game is to guess the message that is created by small 
squares randomly appearing on the screen to form the block letters that
comprise the message. A clue is displayed before the game begins and then
an empty block appears for each letter or character.

There are over 200 puzzles.

System Requirements:
		386 or higher processor
		DOS 3.1 or higher
		1.2 meg disk space

The game can be played from a 3 1/2 inch diskette, but should be installed 
on your hard drive for better performance.

To Install:
	Place the diskette in Drive A: (or B:)
	a:
	install

To Install from Windows, use File menu command Run:
	a:\install

To play the game, change to the game directory and enter 'MESSAGE'
	cd\mesg
	message

To play from Windows, use File menu command Run:
	c:\mesg\message

Menu Selections: (Enter First Letter or Tab to Selection & Press Enter)

Play Next Puzzle: Play the next puzzle that has not been played. 
	(Will recycle)

Select a Puzzle: Select a specific puzzle to play. You will be prompted 
to enter the Selection Code Number. (Available upon registration)

Demo: Same as the Introduction Screen, but at game speed.

Change Speed: You can adjust the rate of speed that the squares are 
displayed. The speed ranges from 1 square per second on slow to 
3 squares a second on fast. (dependent upon the speed of your computer)

Order Form: The order form to receive the registered version will be 
displayed. Screen Print, then complete and mail with payment to receive 
the registered version which will allow you to create your own puzzles.

Quit: When you are done playing to exit this game.

Playing the Game: First a Clue will appear. Then you can view the puzzle 
which will be a display of a blank block for each letter or character 
in the puzzle.  Then after you start the game by pressing enter, small 
squares randomly appear to form the block letters that comprise the message. 

Initially approximately 10% of the small blocks are scattered on the 
screen. Then they appear at the rate of one to three per second. The 
remaining block count appears in the lower right corner.

If you have solved the puzzle, you can press F to Fast Finish the puzzle. 
The remaining squares will be displayed at a faster pace.

Be sure to look for the response which will appear below the clue after
the puzzle is completed. Not all puzzles have a response.

Each time you play a puzzle the squares will appear in a different 
sequence. Sometimes key letters are formed immediately and other times 
they are not evident until the conclusion of the game.

The puzzles can be inspirational, be a cliche, or be something ridiculous.

The registered version will allow you to enter and play your own puzzles.

This game can be played by one, but has also proven to be enjoyed by groups.

This is Shareware and may be distributed as such if so labeled.
