  SOUND CARD TROUBLESHOOTING
  ==========================
  Sound Blaster cards:
  ====================
  You need two correctly configured "driver" files on your hard disk.

  These files are "SBFMDRV.COM" and "CT-VOICE.DRV". They should be located
  in the Sound Blaster directory (\SB or \SBPRO) and the driver directory
  (\SB\DRV or \SBPRO\DRV) respectively. To ensure that these driver programs
  are configured correctly, the INST-DRV program must be used at least once
  after the sound card has been installed or re-installed. Use the INST-DRV
  program as follows:

  For SBFMDRV.COM

  1. change to the \SB (or \SBPRO) directory
  2.   type \SB\INST-DRV then press <Enter>
  3. follow on-screen prompts, selecting "AUTOSCAN" wherever this option
       is given.

  For CT-VOICE.DRV

  1. change to the SB\DRV (or SBPRO\DRV) directory
  2.   type \SB\INST-DRV then press <Enter>
  3. follow on-screen prompts, selecting "AUTOSCAN" wherever this option
       is given.

  There should also be two commands in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file to tell the
  program "where Sound Blaster is" and "how it is configured".
  These should be something like: SET SOUND=C:\SB
  and                                SET BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 T3

  If these lines are included, typing the DOS command SET would give:

                                   SOUND=C:\SB
                                   BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 T3

  This is the easiest way of finding out whether your environment is set
  properly.
