  Troubleshooting - Additional information
  ----------------------------------------
  Q  Why am I unable to hear music/speech even although I have a Sound
     Blaster card?

  A  Do the following to resolve your problems:
     1  Use the diagnostic utility provided for your card.  This will tell
        you whether it is working properly.  If faults are found,
        contact your card supplier.
     2  Our software requires two files supplied with the Sound Blaster
        card.  These files ('SBFMDRV.COM' and 'CT-VOICE.DRV' are in either
        the main Sound Blaster directory, or in one of its sub-directories
        (usually 'DRV').  If either or both are missing, recopy them from
        your master disk(s).  If you still have no music, speech or
        sound effects, go to step 3.
     3  Your Sound Blaster software must be set up to be compatible with
        your Sound Blaster hardware.  To ensure this, run the 'SET-ENV'
        and 'INST-DRV' programs.  These should be in the main Sound
        Blaster directory.  Refer to your Sound Blaster User Reference
        Manual for instructions on their use.
