Berenstain Bears Learning Essentials

This file contains information published too late to be included in the
appropriate user manuals, or that supplements information in the manuals.
It should be read before attempting installation of the program. Hereafter,
the Berenstain Bears Learning Essentials will be referred to as "BBLE" in
this document.

Installation:

1. You will need at least 4.5M of free space on your hard disk to install
    BBLE.

2. It is advisable to create backup disks of your distribution diskettes
before you begin installation. Follow the instructions in your DOS
manual for the DISKCOPY command. When you are finished making the
backup, place your original diskettes somewhere safe, dry, and with a
moderate temperature. Use your new backups to perform the installation.

3. To install BBLE, place the disk labeled DISK 1 into the appropriate
floppy drive, either A: or B:. At the DOS prompt, log onto that disk
drive by typing A: or B:. Once you have logged onto that disk drive,
type INSTALL and press Enter to begin the installation. Simply follow
the instructions that appear on the screen.

4. As Install runs, it will ask you on which disk drive to install BBLE.
BBLE must be installed onto a hard disk. After you specify the drive
to use, a subdirectory named \BBLE will be created on your hard disk,
that will contain all of the BBLE files and subdirectories.

5. When you are finished installing BBLE, you may run the BBLE menu to
start any of the three BBLE programs.

****************************************************************************
Berenstain Bears Learning Essentials Menu:

1. To run BBLE, change to the \BBLE subdirectory. Once there, type START
and press Enter to run the menu. The menu gives you access to all three
programs. You must be in the \BBLE subdirectory when you run START, or
you will not be able to run the individual programs.

2. Attempting to run any of the individual programs without using START
may result in an error message telling you that you do not have the
graphics driver loaded. Simply run START as described above.
