>LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

Hi Microziners!

What's new under the sun? Well, in this
issue of Microzine, you decide!

A solar system is a sun with a group of
celestial bodies (planets) that rotate
around it. With "Planet, Plan-It!" you
can make your own solar system by
putting up to four planets in stable
orbits around the sun.

You'll learn it's not so easy to make
planets STAY in orbit. Sometimes they'll
fly off into outer space. Sometimes
they'll fall into the sun.

Did you know that all of the planets in
our solar system, except the Earth, are
named for Greek and Roman gods? For
example, Venus is the Roman god of love,
Saturn is the Roman god of agriculture
and Pluto is the Greek god of the
underworld.

What would you name the planets in your
solar system?

In addition to "Planet, Plan-It!" the
rest of this issue is packed with fun
and excitement! Choose Programs on the
Guide to read about each program in this
issue. Then decide which you want to
play first.

Don't forget to have fun with Microzine.
We make it just for you!

>LETTERS FROM YOU

Dear Editor:

Hi! I have solved the game, "The Old
West" (issue 25). It was very good! Keep
making more of them.

Melanie Moreland
New Philadelphia, OH

Editor: Congratulations, Melanie! Since
you liked looking for anachronisms in
"The Old West," take a look at this
issue's "Historical Hysterics." There's
a reward for anyone who finds all the
things that are too new to belong in
this picture of the signing of the
Declaration of Independence. Good luck!

Dear Editor:
Microzine is great! These disks are just
great. "Math Mall" (issue 22,23,26) is
the hardest program, I think. It keeps
me busy all night long!

Jodie Marie Finney
Doylestown, PA

Editor: We're happy to hear that
Microzine keeps you so busy, Jodie
Marie, but we don't want you to lose
sleep over "Math Mall!" Since you like
solving problems, try solving some
tricky jigsaw puzzles in this issue's
"Going To Pieces."

Dear Editor:
I really liked the Twistaplot called
"Cosmic Heroes" (issue 25). Can you make
more games about outer space?

Christopher Carter
Downford, AL

Editor: You're in luck, Christopher!
Since you like outer space so much, take
a look at "Planet, Plan-It!" in this
issue. You can create your very own
solar system with up to four planets. It
will surely be an out-of-this-world
adventure for you!

Dear Editor:

I really love Microzine! The Twistaplot
stories are the best! My favorite is
"Voyage to See What's on the Bottom"
(issue 20). I liked to talk to Nigel the
dolphin.

Suzanne McCabe
Parker, CA

Editor: Thanks for writing, Suzanne!
This issue's Twistaplot, "Word War," is
also about proverbs, just like "Voyage
to See What's on the Bottom." See if you
can stop the evil Verbal von Doom from
casting his terrible Saying Spells.
While you're trying, you can chat with
your grandfather's cat, Lexi.
