Do you like solving jigsaw puzzles?
Have you ever thought of making your
own?  Well, you can do both in "GOING
TO PIECES!"

In "GOING TO PIECES," you can solve
easy or challenging puzzles.  You can
then print your puzzle.

You can also create your own jigsaw
puzzles from Microzine's pictures by
making your own puzzle pieces. Print
them, and give them to your friends
to solve.

Go ahead!  You'll love "GOING TO

When you select Solve A Jigsaw Puzzle,
you can choose to solve an easy puzzle,
a challenging puzzle, or a puzzle you
saved on a data disk.  Choose one of
these options.  A puzzle picture will
appear on the screen.  You can choose
that picture, or select another picture.

Choose (S)cramble to mix up the puzzle
pieces.  The scrambled pieces will be
placed around the frame of the puzzle.

Choose (L)ook to see the assembled
picture again at any time.

Point the Hand at the puzzle piece you
would like to put inside the puzzle
frame, then press ENTER.  The Hand will
disappear.

Use the arrow keys to move the puzzle
piece to where you want to place it
inside the puzzle frame.  Press ENTER
to drop the piece.

To remove a piece from the puzzle
frame, use the Hand to point to the
piece.  Press ENTER to pick it up, and
then press the SPACE BAR.

When you are solving a puzzle, you may
choose from four additional options:

 (N)ew puzzle: Type N to choose a new
  jigsaw puzzle.

 (H)elp: Type H to read these
  instructions at any time.

 (P)rint: Type P to print the jigsaw
  puzzle.

 (Q)uit: Type Q to stop playing.

Choose Make a Jigsaw Puzzle to make
your own puzzle pieces.  Then use your
puzzle pieces with a Microzine picture,
and you'll have your own unique jigsaw
puzzle!

There are five options on the Make a
Jigsaw Puzzle screen. They are:

(E)dit: Type E to make the puzzle
pieces.

(S)ave: Type S to save your finished
puzzle on a data disk.  You may only
save completed puzzles.

(L)oad Picture: Type L to see your
puzzle pieces with one of the Microzine
pictures.

HINT: Since it is hard to make puzzle
pieces when a picture is loaded, begin
by choosing Edit to make your puzzle
pieces.  After you've finished making
your pieces, choose Load Picture to see
how your picture will look with your
puzzle pieces.

(D)one: Type D when you are finished
making a puzzle.

(H)elp: Type H to read these
instructions at any time.

After you press E to edit a piece,
you may choose (M)ake Piece to make a
puzzle piece.  Use the Hand to point to
a block.  Press ENTER to make that block
part of a puzzle piece (it will turn
black).  Your puzzle piece may be up to
6 blocks wide and 4 blocks tall.

IMPORTANT: You may have up to 14 puzzle
pieces in your puzzle.

To remove a block from your puzzle
piece, point to the block and press
ENTER (it will turn white).

Press ESC when you are done making a
piece.  Your puzzle piece will now
appear without any lines between the
blocks.  It is one puzzle piece.

To edit a puzzle piece once it's done,
point to any place in the puzzle
piece, then press ENTER.  The puzzle
piece will turn black.  Point to the
block(s) you want to remove from your
piece and press ENTER.  Press ESC when
you are done.  The blocks you pointed to
are no longer part of that puzzle piece.
Use those blocks to form part of another
puzzle piece.

Choose (C)lear to remove all the pieces
you made, so you can start your puzzle
over.

Choose (D)one when you are finished
making a puzzle.

Choose (H)elp to read these instructions
at any time.

